【温馨提示】

表达意愿,即“想要,希望”,常用句式I hope ...;I want ...;I would like ...等。注意:1. I hope to ... 表示“希望”做某事,语气比较委婉。如:I hope to see you again. 2. I want ... 表示“意愿和欲望”时,语气较为强烈。如:I want a cup of tea. 3. I'd like ... 强调“想要,乐意”,语气委婉。如:I'd like some rice. I'd like to have a cup of coffee.

【情景体验】

Tom is in the Fast Food Restaurant.

Waitress: Can I help you?

Tom: Yes, I want to have something to eat. Can I have a hamburger, please?

Waitress: Sure. That's $1.2. What about something to drink?

Tom: I'd like a coke. How much is it?

Waitress: It is $1.00.

Waitress: What else would you like?

Tom: I want a hot dog. How much is it?

Waitress: $2.6.

Tom: That's too expensive. I'll take another hamburger.

Waitress: A coke, and two hamburgers. Right?

Tom: That's right.
