【要点点拨】 get ready for意为“为……准备好”。如：The students are getting ready for the picnic. 学生们正在为野餐做准备。

2. The boys are learning a dragon dance.

【要点点拨】dragon dance 是“舞龙”的英语表达形式。那么“舞狮”当然就是lion dance了。

3. What's happening?

【要点点拨】happen 意为“发生”。一般指偶然发生的事情。

4. We usually decorate the doors and windows with paper cuts.

【要点点拨】decorate 意为“装饰”。其名词为decoration。deco-

rate后常接介词with，表示“用……装饰”。

5. They are round and so they bring us good luck all the year round.

【要点点拨】bring意为“带来；拿来”。与take 意义相反。

6. However, children are usually more interested in Father Christmas.

【要点点拨】be interested in意为“对……感兴趣”。如：Tom is very interested in collecting stamps. 汤姆对集邮非常感兴趣。
