1. A moment of fear went through my mind but I told myself to calm down since I was still alive. 片刻恐惧掠过我的心头，但我告诉自己要镇静，因为我还活着。

A. through意为“穿过”，一般指从物体的内部通过，与介词“in”有关。比较介词across意为“穿过”，一般指从物体的表面通过，与介词“on”有关。如：

You can see snakes if you walk through the rainforest. 如果你穿过这片热带雨林，你会看到蛇。

B. myself为反身代词，意为“我自己”。当宾语与主语一致的时候，宾语用相应的反身代词。tell myself to calm down意为“告诉我自己要镇静”。tell常用的短语为：tell sb. (not) to do sth.。如：

He told us to walk out of the classroom one by one. 他告诉我们一个接着一个地走出教室。

fog (雾)→foggy (多雾的)， frost (霜)→frosty (多霜的)，snow (雪)→snowy (多雪的)

该句也可以表达为：There will be wind.

3. Millie asked me to go to her house because I forgot to bring my keys. 米莉叫我去她家，因为我忘了带钥匙。

A. ask me to go to her house意为“叫我去她家”。ask常用的短语为：ask sb. (not) to do sth.。如：

He asked me not to look out of the window. 他叫我不要向窗外望。

B. forget to do sth.表示“忘了做某事”，强调本该做的事而忘记了去做；而forget doing sth. 表示“忘记做过某事”，强调本已经做过的事而忘记做过了。如：

I forgot to bring my homework this morning. 今天上午我忘了带作业了。（作业该带来而没有带）

I forgot sending you some e-mails. 我忘了曾发过电子邮件给你。（忘记发过电子邮件这件事）
