| 焦点一【定语从句的关系代词】
使用说明： 若先行词是人且在从句中作主语时，关系代词可选用who或that; 作宾语时可选用whom或that，且可省略。若先行词为物且在从句中作主语或宾语时，关系代词则用which或that，作宾语时可省略。whose在从句中作定语。如：
The student who / that is playing with a yoyo is only seven. （作主语）
This is the man (that / whom) I met in Australia last month. （作宾语）
Take the pencil which / that is lying on the desk. （作主语）
Is this the pen (which / that) you were looking for? （作宾语）
There is nobody here whose name is Gu Jianfei. （作定语）
温馨提示： 1. 只能用that的几种情况：
(1) 先行词为all, everything, nothing, anything等不定代词及much, little, few, none, the one时。如：
All that you told me was difficult to understand.
(2) 先行词前有形容词最高级、序数词或the only, the very, no, the last 等修饰时。如：
The first place that they visited in London was the Big Ben.
Mary is the only friend that I have in Australia.
(3) 先行词既有人又有物时。如：
He wrote down the men and the things that were talked about at the meeting.
2. 只用which或who(m)的几种情况：
1. 在由“介词 + 关系代词”引导的定语从句中，只能用which指物，用whom指人。如：
This is the house in which Tom once lived.
He is the classmate with whom I'll go to the cinema.
2. 当定语从句所修饰的先行词已有限定性的修饰词时。如：
What was the name of the war in the USA which lasted four years?
3. 先行词是one, ones, anyone, those时,常用who不用that。如：
Those who want to go to the Great Wall sign up here.
焦点二【定语从句的关系副词】
使用说明： 引导定语从句的关系副词有where, when, why。where 在从句中作地点状语，when在从句中作时间状语，why在从句中作原因状语。如：
This is the park where I lost my watch.
He came at a time when we needed help.
I don't know the reason why she was late.
温馨提示： when, where和why都可以转换为“介词 + which”, 介词的选用取决于先行词和定语从句中的动词。如：
This is the park where / in which I found my wallet.

3. He is one of the experienced engineers in this factory ________ hard work is repaid with the development of the factory.
