| 1. 【点击课本】 Are you excited about going to Beijing? 要去北京你感到兴奋吗？
【要点释疑】 be excited about意为“对……感到兴奋”，about是介词，后接动词时要用V-ing形式。另外，be excited to do sth意为“做某事很兴奋”。例如：
They're very excited about visiting the Great Wall. 参观长城使他们很兴奋。
He was very excited to hear that he had passed the exam. 听说自己通过了考试他感到十分兴奋。
2. 【点击课本】 The camera seemed to offer the most at the best price. 这部相机看来价廉物美。
【要点释疑】 seem作连系动词，意为“似乎；好像”，其常见结构有以下几种：
(1) seem + (to be) + 表语（形容词、名词或介词）。例如：
He seemed (to be) right. 似乎他是对的。
(2) seem + 动词不定式。例如：
He seems to like the book. 他好像喜欢这本书。
(3) It seems + (that) 从句。例如：
It seems (that) he is worried about his son.
(= He seems to be worried about his son.) 好像他在为他儿子担心。

【要点释疑】 drop off 意为“放下（某物）；下车”。例如：
She rode to a shop and dropped off her handbag. 她骑车来到一家商店并把手提包放在那儿。
The man dropped off as soon as the bus stopped. 公共汽车一停，那个男人就下车了。
【温馨提示】 drop off还有“睡着”、“减少”和“让某人下车”的意思。例如：
I was just dropping off when the telephone rang. 我刚要睡着，突然电话铃响了。
Traffic in the town has dropped off since the bypass opened. 这条旁道通车后，城里来往的车辆就减少了。

4. 【点击课本】 We had our pictures taken in the middle of the square. 在广场中央，我们叫人拍了许多照片。
【要点释疑】 过去分词短语taken in the middle of the square在句中作宾语our pictures的补足语。have sth done意为“让某人做某事”，过去分词（done）这个动作由他人（而非主语本身）来完成，含有“被动意义且强调动作已经完成”的意思。例如：
The driver had his car washed once a week. 那位司机每周叫人洗一次车。
You'd better have that bad tooth pulled out. 你最好把那颗坏牙拔掉。
【归纳拓展】 have sb do sth意为“让某人做某事”，动词不定式往往表示一次性的具体动作，且强调动作已经完成或尚未发生。例如：
The soldier had the boy stand with his back to his father. 士兵让那个男孩背对着他的父亲站着。
Have the driver bring the car round at 4 o'clock. 让司机四点钟把车开过来。
【温馨提示】 have sb doing sth意为“让某人做某事”，现在分词（doing）这个动作往往具有持续、进行的含义。例如：
The two men had their lights burning all night long. 那两个人让灯通宵亮着。
They tried to have her talking. But no use. 他们想让她说话，但没用。
5. 【点击课本】 While we were in a boat on Kunming Lake, we heard someone singing Beijing Opera on the bank. 当我们在昆明湖的船上时，我们听到了岸上有人在唱京剧。
【要点释疑】 hear / see sb doing sth 表示的是动作正在进行，如果表示动作的整个过程或动作已完成，应用 hear / see sb do sth。例如：
I saw an old man walking across the bridge slowly. 我看到一位老人在慢慢地过桥。
Mary saw the boy pick up the book and hand it to the teacher. 玛丽看见那个男孩儿拾起那本书并交给了老师。 |
