【点拨】 be on fire“着火”，指状态，而catch fire指动作。
Don't smoke. Things here catch fire easily. 不要吸烟。这里的东西容易着火。
【引申】 fire作名词时的常用短语有：make a fire生火；play with fire玩火；set fire to / set on fire放火烧 / 使燃烧；start / cause a fire 引起火灾；cook meat over the fire 在火上烤肉；light a fire点火；open fire on对……开火；put out a fire灭火。
2.【原句】 Before she could move, she heard a loud noise.
【点拨】 before在此句中为连词，意为“还没有（来得及）……就……”，因此该句译为“她还没来得及迈步，就听见一声巨响。”
